Common Questions
How long does therapy typically last?
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and needs. Some clients find short-term work (8-12 sessions) helpful, while others benefit from longer-term support. We'll regularly check in on your progress and adjust as needed.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes! I offer both in-person sessions at my Toronto office and secure video sessions for clients anywhere in Ontario. Virtual sessions follow the same structure and are equally effective for most concerns.
Is therapy covered by insurance?
Many extended health benefits plans cover Registered Psychotherapist (RP) services. I provide receipts that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Please check with your provider for specific coverage details.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
I understand that life happens. I ask for 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to a fee. Emergencies are always handled on a case-by-case basis.
